A new pavilion was constructed as an extension to the existing listed function room the style of the original timber framed corrugated building is reflected in the modern extension. Constructed using a steel frame cantileverd to ensure no loading was imposed upon the existing building at the abutments.

Set in the outstanding landscape of Cranborne Chase, the beautifully designed gardens of Larmer Tree were created by General Pitt Rivers in 1880.
