Experience of school, hospital and healthcare, commercial, residential, refurbishment, design and build, listed buildings and small works projects up to £10m would be advantageous.

You will be required to:

• Work with the estimating, surveying and contracts team.
• Be a successful team member and work both proactively and positively.
• As a minimum, have at least 5 years’ experience of preparing and submitting tenders.
• Accurately complete take-offs and finished pricing from first principles as well as gaining subcontract engagement.
• Possess a sound knowledge of building construction techniques with preferably a HNC / HND or similar qualification or site knowledge.
• Work under your own initiative and using good organisational skills, successfully manage workload to achieve tender return dates and winning tenders.
• Have good communication and negotiating skills.
• Ideally have some knowledge of planning and presentation.
• Ability to use estimating software.
